The decision on the establishment of Department of Management based on the analysis of contemporary social and cultural situation in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). It caused by the intention to make a contribution to the implementation of evidence-based management technologies in the social and cultural sphere and training of highly qualified managers who own modern technologies of sociocultural and economic knowledge.
Training of managers social and cultural spheres is a new paradigm of culture and education, based on the priorities and practices of art using modern technologies of fundamental and global education.
The department collaborates with leading organizations in the sphere of culture, tourism enterprises and professionals in the field of tourism. The Department is well-coordinated team of teachers: Doctor of Social Sciences Borisova Ulyana Semenovna, Candidate of Psychological Sciences Lukina Valentina Sergeevna, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Ignatieva Sargylana Semenovna, Candidate of Culturological Sciences Vinokourova Evdokia Petrovna, Candidates of Economical Sciences Moskvitin Andrey Ivanovich, Gulyaev Petr Vladimirovich, Senior Teacher Baldyuk Raisa Alekseevna.
The prides of the department are its graduates Dmitry Filippov - assistant of rector; Tarasova Vasilisa Aleksandrovna - Head of Department of Social and Cultural Activities, and many others and also the best students: Kapitonova Nastya, Batyushkina Lena, Nanova Matrona, Terentieva Tuyara etc. Every year students of the Department participate in exchange program "North to North" and studying for six months in Norway, Finland and other Nordic countries.
