The department of social and cultural activities prepares bachelors in training 071800 "Socio-cultural activities." The main educational program implemented by the Federal state educational standard of the third generation, approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation on January 13, 2010, № 16.

The need of bachelor in social and cultural activities related to the demand for employees in the professional community of social and cultural sphere, capable of operating in a market economy.

Occupational fields of the director and producer of cultural and entertainment programs:
- Public and private organizations associations,
- Social and cultural institutions: cultural centers, clubs, recreational and cultural centers;
- Mobile service system (autoclubs); producer and concert venues, the agency;
- Multifunctional institutions (social and cultural centers, cultural and sports centers), institutions and organizations of the leisure industry, recreation and tourism;
- The media, museums, publishers, philharmonic, theater, social and social rehabilitation institutions;
- Educational institutions and institutions of further education, higher education and vocational education.

The main tasks of the director and producer of cultural and entertainment programs:
- Designing and implementating cultural and entertainment programs (informational, educational, artistic and publicistic, entertaining), based on the original scenario-director's decision;
- Conducting educational media and educational work;
- Producing cultural and entertainment programs (projects), organization of various cultural and leisure activities of the population (festivals, competitions, shows, festivals, programs and recreation, social and cultural animation, exhibitions and presentations)
- Artistic leadership of culture and leisure institution, clubs, park, recreation, scientific and methodological center, leisure centers and similar organizations;
- Educational program "Staging and producing cultural and entertainment programs" aimed at the development of practical knowledge and skills in the area of ??set design and directing shows, variety numbers and entertainment events, acting, plastic art and choreography.
