Federal state educational standard of higher education in the field of training 073,400 "Vocal Art" (Qualification BA) is approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation № 1463 of 6 April 2011 .
Preparing bachelors in training 073400 Vocal arts performed in the following specialties: "Academic singing".

Graduates are ready for the following types of professional activities:
- musical performance;
- teaching;
- organization and management;
- musical education;

The fields of professional singers are musical performance, music pedagogy, management of creative teams, administrative work in institutions of supplementary education for children, children's art schools, children's schools, educational institutions and government (municipal) authorities control, culture enlightenment in music and culture.

Vocalist must perform the following professional tasks in accordance with the types of professional activities:
-concert music, work in musical theater as an actor; planning of the educational process, the implementation of the methodology, implementation of control measures to evaluate the results of the educational process;
-Participate in the organization of creative projects (concerts, festivals, competitions, workshops, commemorative events);
-implementation of professional consultations in the preparation of creative projects in music;

The graduate should: recognize the specificity of musical performance as a kind of creative work, be able to demonstrate the artistry, to create individual artistic interpretation of music, organize their practice, conduct intensive rehearsal (ensemble, solo) and concert work, plan the learning process, to conduct methodological work, to develop methodological materials.
