Specialization - theory and history of folk art culture
Higher education enters in the next stage of the qualitative change in all its institutional manifestations - from social and cultural objectives to mechanisms of organization and management. Folk art culture is a part of the artistic culture of the society and becomes an independent professional field requiring special training. Bachelor of folk art culture is a specialist who deals with the following professional activities: educational, artistic and creative, methodical, organizational, administrative, cultural and educational.
Areas of application of professional bachelors include:
- Cultural centers, houses of folk art, folklore centers, house of nationalities, the school of popular culture, home crafts, clubs;
- Studios, bands, amateur associations of folk art;
- Museums (ethnographic and folk culture and art), publishing, the media;
- Associations, associations and movements of ethnic and cultural orientation;
- Educational institutions, institutions of further education and vocational training;
- Government, public and commercial organizations that provide support to the development of traditional culture and folk art;
The main tasks of professional expert in folk art culture:
- Teaching activity;

- Readiness to organize the collection, processing, analysis, organization and storage of information on the target audiences to collect, compile and analyze empirical information on current events and trends in popular culture and artistic creativity:
- To plan and implement administrative and organizational detail of ethnic and cultural centers, and other institutions and organizations involved in the study, development and translation into modern society traditions of folk art culture;
- Contribute to increasing ethnic and cultural competence of the scientific, educational and managerial staff corps of the Arctic region of Russia and the republic of Sakha (Yakutia) to preserve the cultural heritage of the people;
- To promote a common scientific and cultural and information space, transmission and preservation of cultural heritage in it people of Russia, folk art masterpieces.
The main educational program for area 071 500 "People's Art Culture" focuses on the development of applied knowledge and skills in the field of cultural heritage of the peoples of the Arctic, including the indigenous people of the North-East Siberia, Russian Federation, acting as artistic director of the ethnic and cultural center, clubs and analysis methods of works of art, quality art and performing activities of participants of folk art.

Specialization - management of the choreographic amateur group
The purpose of the department is providing highly qualified personnel regions of the Far North, the development of dance culture of indigenous peoples and other peoples living in the area. One of the features of choreography is an intense concert activity of students who take part in all the creative activities of the Institute, the city of the Republic, in the region. Students of the department are known participants in the country and outside the ethno-folkloric group "Aar-Aartyk." The ensemble has successfully demonstrated the traditional art of the indigenous peoples of the North in Japan, France and Italy.

The main tasks of the professional activity of the head of choreographic amateur team:
• accustom various population groups to folk art culture, different types of folk art;
• provide overall artistic direction of ethnic and cultural centers as well as choreographic amateur groups, amateur theater, studio arts and crafts of culture and education;
• guide the artistic and creative activities of participants of dance groups, students of the institution;
• plan and carry out administrative and organizational activities of amateur choreographic group;
In preparation, students master the theory and methodology of teaching classical, folk, pop, ballroom dance, choreography skills, theory and history of choreography, patterns of dance repertoire, ethnography and folklore dancing, basic directing and acting, stage design dance organization - the creative work with the choreographic team, etc.
Graduated from the Institute specialists are leaders of dance groups, dance teacher training courses in schools of culture and art, dance schools and professional artists creative teams.
